User Personae & Dossier:
Trying some different things with the dossier to make it less boring, and visually tie with our presentation and the whole aesthetic of the box, app, and website.
I mocked up the user personas of our Boris family for our dossier. Obviously, the colors need some alterations.
Exchange #3
This exchange was really helpful I got some constructive feedback in terms of motion graphics and asked if our idea made sense within all the elements I showed, I tried not to explain too much as I wanted it to speak for itself, Our logo has been a real problem but I feel like we are almost there.
It was really cool seeing what the spatial and fashion design students have been up to, although its quite different, how we approach certain things are similar. I have really enjoyed these exchange sessions and the people I was paired with. 10/10 would do again.
To do:
Logo design:
More motion graphics work:
Creating a backdrop for when we show our app: Might take the transparency down for when I show the app so it's less distracting.
Illustrations for our campaign & Activity Cards:
Mary put together my illustrations to create this cool collage to represent our product to use on the website and poster:
Updated Logo:
Practice printing for packaging.
Hate the colour of Boris...he looks like a thumb, other than that, really dig the pattern on the inside and overall size.
Met up with Katie to go over the script and dossier:
Motion graphics trouble:
Question: When I zoom in on my vectors it gets all pixelated? Whyyy?!?!?!
Answer: Simple, even though they are vectors I'm still zooming in to the pixels ._.
I went to my first graphic design tutor/friend Sheriene from Yoobee to get some feedback for my motion graphics...to my despair turns out all my settings were wrong and I had to start again .. and resize all my images.
Reflective Image Week 11:
I had a dream with Boris in it, He's getting into my head, he's everywhere.

How easy is that? Look at you go! You’re flying through this
we knew you would. Now your first box is on its way! But what is this mysterious box, you ask? Box - Just closed box
(could use a cropped in a bit of the delivery scene - eg. just the closed front door and the box - no borises)
Well … it’s basically a box of fun, delivered right to your door, every single month. We know!
Open box
It’s called ‘Make it, Take it’ … and trust us, you and your family are going to love it. Come on, let’s have a closer look.
Photos of mockup with packages
Make It take it is a monthly subscription box full of fun stuff to do with your family. We know how busy you are - and we want to help! That’s why we’ve come up with months and months of activities to keep you and your family engaged, creating, and happy. Each month, the four activities inside your box will be linked to things happening around Wellington.
Wellington Scene, maybe magnet idea with event illustrations
A festive Chinese New Year box in February, a spooky Halloween box in October, a beautiful Matariki box in June, or a vibrant Diwali box in November. So basically, we send you a whole lot of fun stuff you can make … and take with you to local events.
Boris families - holding lanterns, boris looking at stars, boris wearing mask, boris holding candle
All you have to do is open your door, open the box, and create.
App Home Page
But hold on - how do you know when the events are on?? Great question. And the answer is, it’s easy! We’re not just box-builders, we’re also tech-whizzes. That’s right - we’ve also made a local-event app to make sure you’re always on top of what’s going on.
App homepage with activities
So, if you want to see what’s coming up - without spoiling the surprise for your kids - then … you check the app! See? We told you it was easy.
