Week 9

After much deliberation, we have decided to pivot our idea a bit. We are abandoning Boris and the whole "fun activities inside" and focusing on events based in your city and the activities surrounding them like make your own lantern for Chinese New Year and bringing the community together.

In terms of illustrations, I have drawn up Wellington monuments in vector style and created a collage to use throughout our project.

I added the boat sheds and houses on the hills to give it a more Wellington vibe :)

I'm still unsure about colors, ill have a play once we sorted out our boxes and other color schemes.

Reflective Image Week 9:

I went to the redwood forests in Rotorua this weekend, to gather some inspiration as all my papers at the moment requires me to illustrate a lot. Came across this during my travels and had a wee chuckle.
